Eldert Street Garden Association
Eldert Street Garden is a community garden that was established on a derelict vacant lot in Bushwick, Brooklyn in 2009. Through six wonderful growing seasons, a core group of volunteers and garden members led by Kim Anderson and Rodrigo Gonzalez has cultivated this little green oasis for the community to enjoy. We offer vegetable plots, educational programming for kids and adults, composting, performing arts space, community events space, and more in a welcoming public space where folks can relax and connect with the natural world.
